Vendored JS/CSS libraries for Inkwell's WKWebView renderer.
No network access at runtime; everything here is loaded from inkwell-asset://.

Fetched via `npm install` into a throwaway scratch directory on 2026-09-25,
then the browser/UMD build was copied out (or, where a package ships no
browser build, bundled into one with esbuild --bundle --format=iife). No
package source was hand-edited.

| File | Package | Version | Source build |
|--------------------------------------|-----------------------------|---------|---------------|
| markdown-it.min.js | markdown-it | 15.0.2 | dist/browser/markdown-it.umd.min.js (npm-published UMD build) |
| markdown-it-task-lists.min.js | markdown-it-task-lists | 2.1.1 | dist/markdown-it-task-lists.min.js (npm-published UMD build) |
| markdown-it-footnote.min.js | markdown-it-footnote | 4.0.0 | dist/markdown-it-footnote.min.js (npm-published UMD build) |
| markdown-it-front-matter.min.js | markdown-it-front-matter | 0.2.4 | package ships CJS only (index.js, no dist/browser build); bundled to a `globalThis.markdownitFrontMatter` IIFE with esbuild 0.28.2 |
| purify.min.js | dompurify | 3.4.16 | dist/purify.min.js (npm-published UMD build) |
| highlight.min.js | highlight.js | 11.12.0 | package ships ESM/CJS source only (no prebuilt dist/); bundled `highlight.js/lib/common` (the common-languages subset) to a `globalThis.hljs` IIFE with esbuild 0.28.2 |
| mermaid.min.js | mermaid | 12.0.0 | dist/mermaid.min.js (npm-published build; sets globalThis.mermaid). Lazy-loaded only when a ```mermaid block is present in the document. |

Global names as loaded by index.html:
- window.markdownit (markdown-it factory)
- window.markdownitTaskLists (markdown-it-task-lists plugin)
- window.markdownitFootnote (markdown-it-footnote plugin)
- window.markdownitFrontMatter (markdown-it-front-matter plugin)
- window.DOMPurify
- window.hljs
- window.mermaid (only after lazy-load)

Verified: each bundle above was loaded in a Node `vm` sandbox shaped like a
browser script-tag context (`window`/`self`/`globalThis` all pointing at the
sandbox, no `module`/`exports`, `atob`/`btoa` shimmed) and confirmed to
define its expected global with a working smoke call (markdown-it render,
hljs.highlight, DOMPurify.sanitize, etc.) before being copied in. That is a
proxy for "defines its global when loaded as a classic <script> tag" and is
not a substitute for the real-browser check in tests/web/ and the headless
Chrome screenshot pass.

esbuild (0.28.2, dev-only, not vendored) was used solely as a build step to
produce two of the bundles above; nothing from esbuild ships in this
directory.

Fonts (not vendored JS; see Resources/web/fonts/):
- Besley (variable weight 400-900, upright and italic), SIL OFL 1.1, copyright
2020 The Besley Project Authors. Fetched 2026-10-21 from
  github.com/google/fonts, ofl/besley/ (Besley[wght].ttf and
  Besley-Italic[wght].ttf, saved as Besley-Variable.ttf and
  Besley-Italic-Variable.ttf; OFL.txt alongside). Unmodified.
- The hljs code theme is hand-written in style.css (the highlight.js GitHub
  stylesheets were removed).
